Growth Strategy Advisors was founded in Dallas TX in early 2002, after the Terrorist Attacks of 9-11 had created downturn and uncertainty in the economy.  At one point the Dallas Morning News reported that the city was losing 5,000 jobs per day; for those companies that kept going the spending reductions of their clients meant finding new ways of generating revenue and retaining their customer base.

Our focus is on four variables that determine how much revenue your firm generates, how much effort you have to put into keeping your customer base, and for how long that revenue generated from that customer base will remain.  Those variables are:

  3. Sales Structure & Skill
  4. Leadership

Phil Hunt – Owner/Consultant

Phil has over 25 years experience in business development.  He is a dynamic executive who uses his sales and managerial background to affect positive change by identifying and resolving core business issues.

With cross functional experience in Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations and Human Resources, he integrates solutions across the organization for seamless, powerful and leveraged results.

His career prior to Growth Strategy Advisors includes sixteen years with Xerox Canada in sales and support function roles, three years leading enterprise software and telecommunications organizations and five years in higher education.  He believes that both sides of business – the process and the people elements – must both be optimized to generate continuous growth.

He has a B.B.A. from Brock University in Marketing and an M.B.A. from Ivey (University of Western Ontario) in International Business.

He lives in London, ON with his wife, two teenage kids and two dogs.  He volunteers for the Make-a-Wish Foundation where he is the Board President for the S.W. Ontario chapter, and helps out at his church fundraising for youth projects.
